As an avid athlete in high school, I started doing yoga to help counterbalance the intense stress being put on my body, as well as to build strength in a way that no other sport had ever offered me before. After getting bored with the monotony of Bikram yoga, I started to branch out with other styles and discovered a whole different side to yoga that I hadn't ever known existed. I began to understand that yoga goes way beyond the physical workout, and dives deep into many other aspects of life through so many different limbs. Overwhelmed, yet empowered, I wanted to share yoga as a tool to heal and empower, just like I had experienced in my own practice.
In 2013, immediately after graduating high school in Lynnwood, Washington, I stumbled upon YoYoYogi's Power Yoga Teacher Training and I went for it! I moved to Portland and received my 200-RYT training that November, and had the privilege of learning from amazing teachers like and Alex and Terri Cole.
If you decide to come to my classes, you will find that they are very lighthearted and fun with funky music, and usually involve a fusion of vinyasa and yin yoga with an emphasis on alignment. I also love to supplement with easy meditation practices, as well as adjustments.
Namastizzle!

Address: 7831 Southeast Stark Street, Portland, OR 97215
This class is designed to be a fast-paced and dynamic flow. I love to start off slowly, and then gradually build up the intensity to warm up the body and mind for a juicy practice. I enjoy playing with many different standing balance variations, as well as twists, and hip openers. The emphasis of each class is to allow the breath to guide each posture into the next-- breathing through the intensity and finding ease. There are always a few yin postures near the end of my classes, and oh boy will your body be ready for some deep stretches by then!
